The Lutheran Church of Nigeria Nursery / Primary School Project

The above-named Nursery school is managed by the Lutheran Church of Nigeria Women Fellowship: a non-profit organization. It is located at Mbierebe Akpawat in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area.

The school has a dire need for clean water and adequate playground for the children. We all know that water is the source of life, and these children do not have clean drinking water. They are requesting help for drilling of a borehole and generator to pump the water.  There is no electricity in the villages.  They also request support to set up playground.

A section of the building for Lutheran High School has been opened to teach less privileged young women skills (Home Economics) in bakery, cooking and restaurants management.  We strongly believe that the girls need training in skill development to enable them to manage their families effectively. This cannot be handled by the church now in view of its huge financial involvement in other areas. The total cost of this project is $10,000.00 ($10K).
